Camera components are challenging, as usually needed to be technically precise (CNC) and aesthetically pleasing (polish & surface treatment). Heat, light, functions and weather proof are things to consider when manufacturing cameras. With cinema camera, constantly on, and with heat a big issue with these cameras, we also help design and build custom heat sinks to release as heat as quickly as possible. Magnesium could be a great metal choice for the camera, as it is lighter than aluminium, but has higher corrosions and lower wall strength properties when compared with aluminium. Here at On Hing Metal, we use a special blend aluminium alloys that mimics the best properties of pure aluminium (dipease heat), to make the custom camera heatsinks. Some parts are powder coated or painted, while some are anodised black. During each surface treatment manufacturing, we have strict controls in order to carry out the specific colours
